Scott Hughes

All about Scott...
A long time ago - well, not thaaat long ago - I was a successful child actor who was very nearly chosen to be the Milky Bar Kid. The memory still haunts me... so then I turned my hand to radio.
I was a tea boy at Essex FM (I was born in Essex) and eventually made it onto air once a week in the middle of the night!
From there I was sent to do Drive time at TEN 17 in Harlow (a station owned by Essex FM) after 4 months there I was asked to join the Capital radio group in 1997.
I presented overnights on Invicta FM in Kent for 10 months then moved up to BRMB in Birmingham when I was 19. I presented every show there at some point in the last 6 years and for the last 18 months presented afternoons there. I joined Radio City in Liverpool in 2003 and left in 2008 with Glen to form a new radio partnership to do Home Time on Century Radio!
I love all things humorous - The Daily Star, The Catherine Tate Show, Jonathan Ross, etc - and like to think I don't take life too seriously. But I'm a caring sort and like to treat others how I would like to be treated.
A couple of things you may not know about me are: I have my private pilot's licence to fly helicopters and I train 4 times a week in Mixed Martial arts.
To find out more... just listen to the show!
